Our soaps are made from high quality, natural plant-based ingredients. Additional points to note about our soaps:
The Daisy Soap Company was founded in 2001. Christy Price and Patricia Buchholtz were two young women needing to get back to the basics of life. After working in the hectic fast-paced High-Tech corporate life, these two decided it was time to slow down by creating a company that produced wholesome products that would benefit environment as well as the people who used them. They worked together to create soap products that were truly good for your skin, better than store bought, including the cosmetic counter variety. These soaps were created using oils that most closely match your skin's natural protective oils, replenishing and rejuvenating your skin. When you live in the fast lane, sometimes it's nice to take time for yourself.
Dawn Matney, a stay at home mother of two young children discovered the benefits of using natural handmade soap shortly after the company was started. Dawn's youngest son Dylan had been experiencing problems with eczema. After finding only temporary relief for Dylan with assorted over the counter and prescription remedies, Dawn tried Daisy Soap Company's "Herbal Tea Tree". The results were amazing, not only did the soap help soothe Dylan's eczema, with continued use, Dylan's eczema occurred less frequently. Dawn had her entire family try the soap. She was so impressed with the product benefit, she became the primary owner in November 2002. Since then, Dawn has researched and developed the "Dylan Eczema Relief" soap product specifially for addressing eczema problems. This very emollient soap is made with ingredients believed to be helpful for eczema and other dry skin conditions. After using this super moisturizing soap, Dylan's skin has never been better! Dawn has noticed it is also a super moisturizing cleanser for her hands, face and body, and makes a great shaving soap too!
In 2005, long-time Daisy Soap customers Terry and Don Parsons joined the Daisy Soap Company. Both are providing the greatly needed re-enforcements that a mother of two children needs in running a growing business.
